Among an exciting pruduction schedule and new films for Zara in 2010 includesThe LANDLORD (Ho Yiu Fay Films) SIM CARD (Matt Routledge) The HIKE (Motion Picture House) and AB (Lacuna Works).

One of Europes most decorated and highly reveared female martial artists, Zara Phythian, a former 13 times multi style sports martial arts champion was actually spotted for film in the USA whilst she was competing and winning 4 US National Belt Titles at one event. Returning to the US for an independent Sci Fi movie, Zara soon found the actor bug, retiring from International competition to follow and study a continued career as a unique actress, with the looks of a leading lady and the skills that sets her apart.

Zara continues to rise as one of the UK's new exciting talents in film and tv, now honing her studies in drama to compliment her world class skills in martial arts and action performance. Currently working in TV, Music Video and Feature Film, Zara also finds time as a successful business woman running two martial arts busnesses through the PBA and Z Factor Systems as well serving as a board director for the independent Great Britain Martial Arts Team.

Zara is currently working in collaboration with Writer / Producer Ben Trebilcook ( Die Hard 4, Mission Impossible 3) on the early stages of a brit drama.

The project , in early stages, could see a pre production launch at the up coming Action Performer workshop at the NEC in may where Zara is teaching action fighting skills and accompanied by ben Trebilcook who will give a talk on breaking into film and casitngs.. We'll keep you posted
